We are a family owned and operated Mexican restaurant specializing in our signature homemade tamales, we only use the freshest ingredients for our tamales, tacos and burritos.
The Tamale House began over 15 years ago selling our homemade tamales at our local farmers market. As we grew, we felt that transitioning to a brick and mortar was the next step in our story. In 2010 we moved into our first location and since then we have expanded our menu and found our home in Tigard and continue to make our award-winning tamales using the freshest ingredients.
We may be small, but our family-run restaurant is serving up all of your favorite Mexican fare including tacos, burritos, enchiladas, tostadas, chiles rellanos and over 6 types of tamales plus vegan options!
